Whitehorse City Council is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Statutory Planning team as a Development Planner. With Box Hill designated as a Metropolitan Activity Centre and our team moving towards paperless processes, this is a great time to join Whitehorse and be exposed to a range of exciting and interesting applications and projects.

As a Development Planner, you will assess and process more complex permit applications, provide advice to internal and external customers, ensuring that high level customer service is provided at all times. As a more experienced Planner you will also provide support to Urban Planners as required.

If you have a relevant tertiary qualification, demonstrated successful experience in a planning role, a thorough understanding of the legislation and planning processes, can communicate clearly, write concise and accurate reports and juggle the challenges of the role successfully we look forward to hearing from you.
