As the Coordinator Community Laws, you will be part of the Compliance Leadership Team with key responsibilities including leading the Community Laws team, delivering departmental and organisation service programs, the development and implementation of operational plans and the coordination of the Department's legal processes.

To be successful in this role, you will:
• Excellent leadership skills with a strong commitment to supporting and developing staff.
• High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to prepare and present reports and to represent Council in Court.
• Knowledge of Local Government laws and the ability to interpret and apply legislation.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, quality and customer service.
