Water Resource Officer

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW employs 750 staff across 25 offices servicing more than 37,000 customers.

Based in Tatura, you’ll join the Water Resources team, responsible for developing resource sharing arrangements across GMW’s region and providing expert advice to support GMW’s groundwater and unregulated surface resources.

Demonstrating advanced interpersonal skills you’ll coordinate and support the development and implementation of water resource management plans and projects. You’ll also provide expert technical advice regarding groundwater and unregulated surface water resource issues to GMW, its customers and external stakeholders as well as assist us to better understand water resource availability and risks.
