Manager Salinity and Irrigation

Are you a specialist in Agricultural Science or Natural Resource Management, with senior management experience? The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is looking for someone to lead a number of their salinity management projects. If you have demonstrated experience in both natural resource and project management, if you are the type of person that people want to work with, then we want to hear from you.

Leading a dynamic team, as the Manager for Salinity and Irrigation you will deliver the strategic objectives of the Mallee CMA’s Salinity and Irrigation Unit, focusing particularly on regional irrigation and groundwater processes; water use policy and marketing mechanisms; and the salinity management framework employed in the irrigated and semi-arid landscape of the Mallee.

To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science or Natural Resource Management (NRM) along with five years of experience in all aspects of project management in NRM or another related discipline.

This position is available on a fixed term 24 month basis (extension subject to funding). The position is classified as a Senior Executive Officer, salary range is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00, plus 9.5% superannuation.
