On behalf of this growing government body based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we are looking for an experienced Local Laws / Compliance Officer to assist within one of their busy and fast paced departments. 

Experienced officers are required to enforce council by laws and legislation pertaining to overhanging vegetation, litter prevention, animal noise & nuisance complaints.
 
As the successful candidate you will have a Cert IV in Local Government Compliance and bring your thorough knowledge of legislation to the role. Due to the short nature of the role, previous experience within enforcement and compliance is a must. You will have the facility to educate the community on their rights and responsibilities towards local laws legislation, and promote understanding and corporation.
