• Up to $65 p/hr + super (8 hr a day)

NSW Government Agency is looking for an Environmental Specialist to join their team in Parramatta. You will assist the technical team to work strategically and proactively to define and resolve key environmental sustainability challenges across government to deliver effective project outcomes and government net zero policy ambitions.

The Role:

• Define and resolve key environmental sustainability challenges across government to deliver effective project outcomes and government net zero policy ambitions.
• Knowledge with current and emerging environmental sustainability priorities, challenges and trends
• Manage projects, environmental engineering consultants and forging key partnerships with stakeholders and procurement activities
• Conduct investment grade feasibility studies
• Report-writing to convey complex problems and solutions to various audiences.

About you: 

• Minimum 3 - 5 years professional experience in environmental engineering, environmental management, renewable energy and/or sustainability roles delivering strategic energy and resource efficiency (including water conservation and waste management) and carbon
• Relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
