A new and exciting role has been created which will suit an innovative, highly motivated and well-organised individual with proven leadership and management skills. In this role you will provide leadership to a team of civil engineers and operations staff, at a landfill facility.

Reporting to the Director Waste Services this position has responsibility for planning and managing the efficient and cost effective operation and construction of all activities at the Red Hill Waste Management Facility and transfer stations.

To be considered for the role you will have significant experience with civil design, soils engineering, earthworks, liners, and mass haul planning, as related to landfill engineering or similar. You will also have experience in managing operational aspects of a business from finance through to safety, work-flow planning and staff management.
