About the role
Our regional centre, Grafton is known as the ‘City of Trees’, being the home of the internationally recognised ‘Jacaranda Festival’. Our coastal towns of Yamba and Brooms Head are framed with avenues of 100 year old Norfolk Island pines, and many of our other communities are set amidst stands of Gondwana Rainforest.

We are seeking a strong applicant to undertake works in relation to urban tree management, to inspect and provide timely, accurate and succinct information on urban tree issues and to undertake works as required that contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Council’s open spaces, sportsgrounds, parks and reserves.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
