What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 70 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $53,190 - $63,430 per annum, plus superannuation
  • a 9 day fortnight
  • location - Grafton
  • the opportunity to accrue time in lieu
  • the opportunity to 'purchase' leave

About the role

Do you have experience in library and information services? Do you enjoy delivering library programs, and have appropriate qualifications in Library and Information Science? In this dynamic role, the successful applicant will be a highly motivated and dedicated professional with exceptional customer service skills and a keen interest in providing a high quality, customer focused service. This role will utilise your strong organisational, facilitation and problem solving skills.

You will provide responsive customer services to ensure the delivery of a leading edge library service by providing support and leadership in administrative, programming and general library activities. We are looking for an energetic, passionate and engaging professional to work within a dynamic team to create, coordinate and evaluate Library Community engagement programs and events such as:

  • Adult Programs
  • Children's Programs
  • Youth Programs
  • Home Library Service
  • Technology programs

This position is located at Council's Grafton Library, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
