What you need to know...
About the role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Building Surveyor to join our busy dynamic team. You’ll be required to encourage the submission of appropriate applications to formalise the existence of unauthorised dwellings where planning, building and environmental controls permit their continued existence. You’ll be able to live and work in the Clarence Valley where we enjoy the finer things in life like catching a fish or a wave before work and river views on your daily commute; or perhaps you’d like to ride your horse on a hobby farm instead. We have a work/life balance that is exactly as it should be – balanced.
If you’re a professional Building Surveyor who wants to make the built environment a safe and healthy place to occupy and enjoy leisure time as much as office/on-site time, Clarence Valley Council wants to hear from you.
