What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 70 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $63,834 - $76,123 per annum, plus superannuation
  • location - South Grafton

About you

You’re a well-connected and respected person across nations such as Yaegl, Gumbaingirr and Bundjalung Nations in the terms of Aboriginal cultural heritage. You will be able to demonstrate and build suitable relationships using your cultural competence across the Yaegl, Gumbaingirr and Bundjalung Nations.

About the role

You will use your expertise by liaising and coordinating with State Government Departments, Local Aboriginal Land Council’s and Traditional Land Owners to undertake assessments and provide improvements to cultural heritage outcomes for Council’s operations.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
