What you need to know...
About the role
Grafton Regional Gallery is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Collections and Exhibitions Officer to assist with the development and presentation of the Gallery's exhibition program and the coordination of the permanent collection.
As the Collections and Exhibitions Officer you will utilise industry best practice for art work registration, installation, conservation, storage and handling in this role. You will have experience in collection/museum practice and be responsible for the development and maintenance of the collection database and artist files. You will actively monitor the condition and location of works of art, environmental conditions within the Gallery, and coordinate logistics for exhibitions, and installation. You will prepare contracts and documentation for incoming and outgoing loans and other collection management related administration.
