Manager Operations – Grade 23
This critical position is responsible for leading the delivery of operational works programs including underground operations, parks, gardens, open spaces, pavement and wearing surfaces. Using your  exceptional leadership, management, organisational and communication skills you will manage a  large team of operational staff whilst influencing and leading change and driving operational efficiency  and innovation. Relevant tertiary engineering qualifications are essential. Previous experience in local  government, mining or construction will be well regarded.

Manager City Development – Grade 23
Responsibilities of this challenging role include the provision of quality planning and development  initiatives, process and services, including managing Council’s development application assessment  processes and building and plumbing certification service for the City. A strong and engaging leader you will develop and maintain a positive team culture as you support, mentor and provide clear
direction to the team. A knowledge of the relevant Acts, Regulations, Codes and Standards is essential, as are tertiary qualifications in town planning or equivalent. Qualifications as a Building Surveyor will  be very well regarded.

Building Surveyor – Grade 15
This position is responsible for conducting assessments of development applications and construction certificates for residential, commercial and industrial buildings for component compliance, safety and building certificates subject to Accreditation Level. The ability to achieve and maintain Building Professional Boards Accreditation (Levels A1 to A2) is essential.
