If you are a strategic planner with extensive experience and tertiary qualifications, Wyndham City has the opportunity for you to play an important role in its Strategic Planning team.

Wyndham, in Melbourne’s south-west, is one of Melbourne’s fastest growing corridors.  It presents diverse land use and development issues requiring creative strategies to guide development of sustainable, future oriented communities.

The Strategic Planning team’s role is to achieve the most sustainable, practical and liveable land use planning outcomes for Wyndham’s future.  The Strategic Planning team is responsible for preparing and implementing strategies, policies and plans for new and changing communities, employment areas, rural districts and areas with environmental  and recreation values, in consultation with other stakeholders.

You will have a tertiary qualification in town and regional planning or related discipline with extensive relevant experience.  Your extensive experience in strategic land use planning will allow you to excel in this exciting role.  Local government experience preferably in both an urban growth environment and rural context will be well regarded.
