eYouth Operations Officer

$84,234 pa (pro rata) plus superannuation

Wyndham City Youth Services team is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead an exciting new project in one of Victoria’s fast growing municipalities. Working within a supportive and innovative team, your role will be to plan, facilitate, implement and evaluate the state funded Empower Youth grant project, “eYouth”.

Reporting to the Area Leader, you will have the responsibility to plan, facilitate, implement and evaluate the eYouth project, support staff and have the ability to work collaboratively with internal and
external stakeholders.

Your ability to develop and support Western Region partnerships, liaise with State and Local Government and other key stakeholders to facilitate and expand the delivery of the eYouth project will allow you to succeed in this role. A copy of the work plan is available for applicants to peruse upon request and should be taken into consideration when applying for this role.

You will have a degree or diploma in the area of social science, community development, human services discipline with some relevant experience, or Arts based Degree or Diploma with extensive relevant experience in the youth sector. Along with a sound understanding of youth participation principles and demonstrated experience in utilising this framework to successfully engage groups of young people.

You will require a current Working with Children Check and undertake a Police Check.
