Team Leader Human Resources

Temporary Full Time, 12-18 months
$100,870 to $111,720 (pro rata), plus superannuation

Wyndham City is looking for an experienced, collaborative, results and people focused leader to provide direction, drive continuous improvement and coordinate a dynamic human resources team within the People Services Unit.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to lead a small team to think strategically and solve human resources matters. Within this fast-paced environment, you will possess the ability to juggle multiple conflicting deadlines and utilise excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

Reporting to the Coordinator People Services, your key responsibilities will include providing strong leadership to a team of Human Resources Business Partners responsible for the delivery of all people related services, policies, procedures and programs.  You will be responding to complex and challenging operational employee relations matters and changes within the internal and external environment, while planning and directing the strategic and administrative activities relevant to generalist human resources functions.  You will enjoy the management of team performance and individuals’ professional development while ensuring quality outputs and the delivery of high level customer service is achieved across the business.

You will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management along with significant relevant human resources experience in a complex, diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.  Your leadership and people management experience coupled with strong analytical and problem solving skills, will allow you to excel in this position.
