Wyndham City's newly established Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement team is seeking a motivated individual to undertake the role of Research Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of research and data resources for the whole of Council, and to promote and support the use evidence in planning, policy development and strategic positioning.

Reporting to the Coordinator of Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of socio-economic data in Wyndham, and maintaining a strong evidence base for place-based and policy related planning. This will include contributing to publications, profiles and briefing papers on community needs, and leading population and service data analysis.

You will have skills and experience in the use of demographic, socio-economic and geographic data for social planning purposes, including a high level of proficiency in cleaning and creating new variables in data sets, and in providing analysis for social, economic and land
use planning.
