Wyndham City’s busy Town Planning Unit is looking for two experienced Town Planners to join their team. 

Your duties will include implementing and reviewing the statutory planning responsibilities pursuant to the Wyndham Planning Scheme (and its successors), the Planning and Environment Act, Subdivision Act and other relevant legislation.

Reporting to the Town Planning Coordinator, your understanding of planning legislation, reforms and processes within Victoria, and knowledge of the theory and practice of town planning are key prerequisites. An understanding of Local and State Government processes, roles and responsibilities will also be critical to your success in this role.

You will have a tertiary qualification in Town Planning or another related discipline, and an understanding or working knowledge of a diverse range of technical and professional fields, in particular urban design, engineering and law would also be advantageous.
