Wyndham City Council has an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to be part of the innovative Building Services Unit.

The Building Services Unit is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their energetic and dedicated team in providing high quality statutory building services.

Reporting to the Team Leader Building Statutory Area, you will conduct inspections for swimming pools, essential safety measures, council consents and non-compliant building works. You will carry out building investigations and enforcements coupled with providing accurate and concise technical advice on statutory and building matters.

To be successful in this role you will possess a proficient understanding of the Building Act, Building Regulations, Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards. Your knowledge of building construction and terminology coupled with well-developed written and oral communication skills will be paramount to your success.

Registration as a building inspector is required.
