Overview

We are currently working with municipality whose planning team are at stretching point and have an immediate requirement for a Band 6 Senior Strategic Planner who can work remotely on a part time basis.

Requirements

As the suitable applicant you will have a demonstrated background in strategic planning from the Victorian local government system with recent Band 6/ Band 7 level experience.

The Strategic planning team are busy and are looking for an experienced planner that can work quickly and autonomously. We require someone who can undertake rezoning work, undertaking planning scheme reviews, new project work and heritage overlays. You will be highly articulate and be fully aware of the latest planning schemes and amendments.

We are looking for a self starter, someone who can work independently from home, providing your own laptop and being able to login into there system. A monthly trip into the office will be required.

Requirements

• Band 6/ 7 Local government sector experience essential
• Tertiary qualifications in Planning
• Able to work to deadlines
• A demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian planning framework
• First class communication and stakeholder management skills

A clean driving license is essential and the preparedness to drive to regional Victoria.
