Charters Towers Regional Council is looking for a passionate and experienced leader for the key position of Manager Water and Wastewater.
Charters Towers Regional Council is based in Charters Towers, an easy 90-minute drive inland from Townsville. Charters Towers is a regional centre for several major industries including mining, beef, tourism and education.
It has many renowned attractions including historical sites, adventures, fabulous walks and drives with an outstanding country lifestyle on offer.
Council is focused on delivering quality services and is financially sound, with a total budget of $60M and 220 staff.
This role provides quality leadership to the water and wastewater operations of the Council, develops and delivers capital and maintenance works for water and wastewater and oversees development of asset management plans for water and wastewater assets. The position reports directly to the Director Infrastructure Services and is a key member of the Management Leadership team.
The successful applicant will bring well developed Leadership skills, the right attitude aligned with Councils Values and demonstrated experience.
