Goldenfields Water is a single purpose County Council with a service population of over 46,000 and operates water supply schemes of potable and non-potable water for residential, industry and rural applications across an area of approximately 22,000sq/kms. Situated in Temora, the region is an unspoiled and relaxed part of southern New South Wales.

Responsible for water supply functions within the Local Government areas of Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra - Gundagai, Hilltops, Junee, Temora, and part of Narrandera. Bulk supply is provided to parts of Cootamundra - Gundagai Council (the former Cootamundra Town Area) and Hilltops Council (the former Harden and Young Shires) where the respective councils handle local reticulation.

In other areas, distribution is made direct to approximately 11,000 individual Goldenfields retail connections.

Goldenfields Water is seeking dynamic and highly motivated senior manager to be the driving force in delivering a comprehensive, reliable and ecologically sustainable supply of water to its customers.

Reporting to the General Manager the manager will lead a multi-disciplined team responsible for the delivery program and the overall operation of the corporate services team and effectively managing council’s long term financial sustainability.

To be successful in this role you will possess leadership qualities, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a management style, which is inclusive and focused on operational, customer delivery, and service outcomes. Your knowledge of best practice systems and processes, innovation and a willingness to work collaboratively will also be critical to your success in the role. Relevant tertiary qualifications and senior management experience in public and or commercial administration is essential.
