The Shoalhaven City Council — progressive, innovative, financially sound. The Assets and Works Group has a staff of 354 and operates a budget of $140M Operations and $70M CAPEX. The Director will contribute to the Council’s Community Strategic Plan, with a strategic focus on asset management to ensure long-term viability, through the resource plans including: The Four-year Delivery Program; Long-term Financial Plan; Asset Management Plan, and Workforce Plan.
You will have strong senior management skills, effective working relationships, be critical thinking, creative, and innovative to the vision, goals and values of the Council and the City. Your organised and detail-orientated skills, ability to lead a talented staff group in managing workload and multiple projects effectively, given competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, will be well regarded. Your skills and experience in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure, and the management of public assets will be critical to success in the role. A very attractive Total Remuneration Package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
