The General Manager has been leading a transformation of the staff group to deliver excellent customer service, world-class community facilities and a sustainable future for the Tamworth community.

The Executive Manager People and Culture reports directly to the General Manager, with responsibility for strategic direction and leadership of an innovative and high-quality range of organisation services and programs. The Executive Manager helps develop a values-based organisation culture in a staff group of 550, promoting high-level skills and abilities and providing a performance program, building workforce resilience and capacity to deliver quality programs and objectives. Private sector experience would be an advantage, especially in a change environment. You will be supported by a great team of HR and OD staff in leading these challenges and bringing to life the organisation values.

The Tamworth region is a stunning mix of city living and rural hospitality, hosting numerous events and celebrations, including the world-renowned country music festival in January each year and the Taste Tamworth Festival. This is a vibrant and prosperous city and region, a real place to call home, with access to high-class medical, transport and educational facilities.
