  • 5-year contract – Attractive remuneration package on offer
  • Location negotiable (can be regionally located)

Reporting to the Executive Committee, the Executive Officer’s role is to lead and manage the NSW Water Directorate to achieve the long and short term strategic objectives and priorities set by the Executive Committee. The role is multifaceted and requires an ability to provide quality technical advice as well as providing a platform for industry networking, information sharing and collaboration across regional and rural LWU’s. Pivotal to the success of the role is the ability to develop and maintain key external relationships across government agencies, State and Federal Ministers and industry associations. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong technical knowledge of water and sewer operations supported by relevant qualifications and experience. A strong communicator, you will work closely with the Executive Committee to promote the activities of the Water Directorate throughout the state and ensure the members are kept informed and up to date on relevant legislation, policies and guidelines.
