Wollongong City Council is looking to bring an authentic values driven executive leader to its team to continue to build on its success. 

This key executive role forms a critical part of the Executive Management Team and is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the diverse Infrastructure and Works portfolio. This position is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of Council’s capital program and management of a multi-billion asset base. 

As a member of the Executive Management Team this role is jointly responsible for the provision of credible leadership, development of a performance culture, strategic planning and organisational decision making, ensuring that infrastructure and works support the strategic direction and mission of the organisation.

Specifically you will focus on:
1. Leading the innovative planning and achievement orientated delivery of a community focused and responsive capital program.

2. Supporting the development and actively advocate for the delivery of a high performance culture.

3. Ensuring consistent prudent procurement processes that deliver effective purchasing and contract performance.

4. Focusing on building capability and capacity in our people, systems and resources.
