As a member of Council’s Executive Leadership Team, your passion for people and driving improved organisational performance will be essential for success. Your exceptional influence, negotiation and ability to implement changes will be critical for leading and managing the Human Resources Unit to improve the performance of Wyong Shire Council to make a positive difference in the community.
Key activities of this role include:
- Creating and implementing contemporary change management strategies
- Implementing commercially orientated HR practices to ensure continuous improvement
- Ensuring strategic HR management needs are identified and interventions are developed
A degree in Human Resources or a related field and a Class C Drivers Licence are essential. Demonstrated experience in leading a large team as a contemporary senior HR professional in a large organisation to achieve objectives and drive a performance culture is also essential.
