Due to growth and expansion, WaterNSW is looking for a strong Manager Asset Delivery to join their team based at the CBD moving to our Parramatta office in 2017.

This is no ordinary role. The newly created Manager Asset Delivery role is a key driver to the delivery of a commercially focused program and project delivery oversight for WaterNSW asset projects.

About the position…

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated team. A key part of your role will be to ensure the delivery of a circa $100 million annual portfolio of infrastructure asset projects.

The role would suit an experienced senior manager who has worked within complex businesses, has participated in high level decision making and can approach problems from a corporate perspective. This individual will have a strong understanding of risk management and its role in managing project fundamentals such as time, cost, quality, safety and the environment.

Your exceptional strategic, technical and leadership skills will enable you to quickly build credibility and confidence with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for the implementation of the WaterNSW project management framework, including training of relevant people for delivery of infrastructure projects.

About you…

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, and post graduate tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project management
• Demonstrated extensive experience in managing and successfully delivering multiple asset dominant projects of the size and nature of the infrastructure projects to be delivered by WaterNSW.
• In depth understanding of risk management and its role in managing project fundamentals such as time, cost, quality, safety and the environment.
• Demonstrated management level experience in leading and managing staff and teams to achieve business outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience at a senior level in the participation in and management of contractual dispute resolution.
