 About the role

This fantastic opportunity has become available within the Planning Development and Regulatory Services branch for a highly motivated person with a demonstrated commitment to quality customer service. The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team supporting the business functions of the branch and ensuring statutory compliance with Council’s administrative business functions.

About you

In addition to a Certificate IV in Business Administration or a related discipline you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to providing quality customer service to both internal and external customers including written and verbal communication on a daily basis, and to negotiate outcomes and resolve conflict.

  • Demonstrated high level experience in the use of Microsoft Office, and an ability to use Financial Management Software, Electronic Document Management systems, Geographic Information systems and Customer Request Management systems

  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships within the development industry and promote Council as an efficient and effective competitor in a competitive market.

  • Demonstrated ability to accept challenges, embrace change management principles, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
