The role

This Planning and Development position will play a key role in helping us plan our water resources and water and sewerage systems to support a healthy environment, a thriving economy and strong communities across south-west Victoria.

This role provides an opportunity to make the most of your talents, broaden your experience and take on rewarding challenges.

A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a relevant tertiary qualification together with extensive experience would be highly regarded.

This opportunity would also be well suited for a graduate student to join the water industry and gain experience, enjoy professional development opportunities and be mentored by highly skilled professionals in a supportive environment.

Your skills

  • Experience in water resource planning both supply and demand projections. Surface water and groundwater sources would be highly regarded
  • High levels of motivation and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • The ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in water and sewerage system planning, design and construction would be highly regarded

 

Salary range will be dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications.
