Public Libraries Victoria Network (PLVN) is the peak professional body and the voice for Victorian public libraries, comprising representatives of every public library service in the state.

Its purpose is to collaborate, advocate and represent the mutual interests of member libraries. It provides a forum for the discussion of library issues whilst fostering, encouraging, promoting and enhancing collaboration across the sector and with key stakeholders.

PLVN is seeking a part-time (21 hours per week) Executive Officer to co-ordinate PLVN’s activities, assist in promoting the interests of PLVN and its members, manage the administration of PLVN’s activities and negotiate and manage agreements for the delivery of best-price products and services to Victorian public libraries.

Applicants should have professional competence in project management, be well-organised and capable of managing diverse priorities, able to build effective working relationships,  demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of the role of public libraries, and have high-level communication skills.

Days of work and a salary package commencing  range at $88,000 pro rata ($52,800) plus superannuation depending on experience will be negotiated with the preferred candidate.
