$111,274 - $118,049 + 9.5% Superannuation

The Position… provide support and development of staff within the Family Health team. The Assistant Coordinators share responsibility for the day to day operations of Family Health with the Coordinator Family Health. The role is required to work in collaboration to plan, deliver and coordinate the universal primary care service of Maternal and Child Health for families with children aged 0 – 6 years in the City of Melbourne and to support nurses in their role as immunisers.
You will have…
- Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values – accountability, integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence
- Current APRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, Division 1, with Midwifery and Maternal and Child Health qualifications.
- A current registration for Public Vaccination, according to the requirements of the Department of Human Services in Victoria and to be eligible to be an immunisation mentor or a willingness to acquire this qualification within 12 months.
- A high standard of clinical expertise in Maternal & Child Health.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team and experience in the provision of supervision and clinical support of staff.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, communication skills (written and oral), computer skills, evaluation and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, meet task deadlines, operate as an autonomous professional on a day to day basis and as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable:
- Lactation Consultant qualification
- Current driver’s licence
The successful applicant will require a police check, working with children check and a medical.
