Property and Business Census Officer
$54,789 + 9.5% Superannuation
Temporary Full Time, to 3 August 2018

The Position… Reporting to the Business Census Coordinator and working alongside a team of five, you will primarily be responsible for the systematic and continuous collection of property related information and Census of Land Use and Employment(CLUE) data in the City of Melbourne. You will acquire a detailed understanding of Council’s property structure and ensure the data collected is current, accurate and complete.
You will be working with a number of individuals in planning and preparing all end to end data collection and delivering within specified timeframes. A demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and proven working knowledge of standard computer applications and knowledge of data privacy laws are essential. In addition, the position requires an understanding of property system principles and procedures to support business requirements.
We are ideally seeking an individual who is great at building rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders, who can work autonomously with limited supervision and also within a team environment coupled with engaging and providing exceptional customer service to our stakeholders.
This is the prefect role for someone looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.

- Related experience in a similar data collection field would be highly desirable
- Well-developed administrative and customer service skills
- Ability to build good rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient level of numerical, analytical and excel skills.
