Together we Make the Difference How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne… The City Research and Insights team play a key role in driving a Melbourne of tomorrow that is innovative, engaging, agile and digitally native. Acting as a Centre of Excellence, the team leads and supports a high-profile program of services and products including CLUE, 3D DAM, Pedestrian Visualisations and City Analytics. Reporting directly to the Research and Insights Manager, the Urban Technologies Specialist will steer the evolution of the use data and insights derived to help the City of Melbourne make decisions and take action through the effective communication of analysis and data. You will provide insights on key city disrupting technology trends and impacts across the organisation and develop communications based on these. This is an exceptionally rare chance to drive forward Melbourne’s future, working on some truly innovative and collaborative programs of work including City of Melbourne’s Smart City efforts, IoT utilisation and sensor management.
