How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne…
As the Presenter Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing high quality services, experiences and support for presenters, hirers and suppliers of Meat Market to deliver its safe and optimal use as a cultural venue for creative development and housing of the arts in the municipality.
You will be responsible for coordinating the Presenter experience from the first point of contact to the conclusion of the event, coordinating site visits, contracts and compliance documentation and managing customer relationships to ensure the hirer experience is planned and seamless, providing a high quality of service at all times. In addition, you will support the Venue Manager to develop and implement marketing, communications and promotional materials and activities to attract a diverse mix of presenters and hirers for predominantly arts related activities.
Your passion for the arts, strong customer service skills and ability to manage competing priorities will be critical to your success.

•Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values – accountability, integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence.
•Previous experience as an effective Bookings/Venue Coordinator, Front of House Manager or similar role within the arts sector.
•A passion for facilitation of artists and arts practice.
•Strong track record of providing excellent customer service in a busy environment, including the ability to relate to a diverse range of customers, team members and stakeholders.
•Demonstrated experience in management of data and statistics in a venue or facility context.
•Excellent administrative skills including the ability to manage systems, prepare documents and files, schedules and financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
•Proven proficiency and experience successfully using a wide range of computer packages, including database programs and MS Office applications, for analysis, reporting, presentations and other purposes as required.
