How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne…
City of Melbourne are currently seeking three Assistant Early Childhood Educators (Certificate III) to join our North Melbourne Children’s Centre. We have one permanent (full time) position, one permanent part time position working four hours per day, five days per week and one part time position working Thursdays and Fridays up until October 2021.
As the Assistant Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III), you will provide high quality education and care for all children accessing our services. You will be guided by the Early Childhood Educator and share responsibility for ensuring that the program reflects current best practice, and meets the individual needs of each child participating in the program. Programs will be informed by ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’ Early Years Learning Frameworks.
Currently these Assistant Early Childhood Educator positions are located at the North Melbourne Children’s Centre, however educators can be required to move across the City of Melbourne managed Children’s Centres. These being; Hotham Hub Children’s Centre and North Melbourne Children’s Centre. All services are open 7.30am to 6.00pm with shifts allocated to meet service requirements.
