The GIS Specialist Analyst builds capability and capacity which enables spatial modelling to be translated into evidence driven inputs to support planning and design outcomes for the city. As a key member of the Technology and Digital Innovation (TDI) branch, you will contribute to the empowerment of City of Melbourne and our community through building digital capabilities and technology platforms, utilising quality data.
Situated in the Data, Analytics and Insights team within TDI, the GIS Specialist Analyst will be responsible for spatial modelling, crafting customised modelling inputs to support business initiatives, whilst project managing a team delivering complex work. As such, your partner collaboration and advocacy skills will be crucial in creating strategic partnerships both internally and externally.
We are looking for someone with a passion for creating evidence-based spatial analysis which will influence and contribute to positive project outcomes.
