The Opportunity

The emergence of the digital world represents an opportunity for TasWater to become a digital utility. A water utility that has the flexibility, capability, culture and commitment to seek out and leverage emerging digital technologies to deliver our Customer Promises faster and more efficiently.

To realise that vision, we are building a team of specialists to deliver multiple and varied digital projects. We’re bringing technology, innovation and efficiency functions together in a new Digital program to take our business to the next level.

As part of the team, you’ll work with a group of problem solvers collaborating on some of the most cutting-edge digital projects in Tasmania. You’ll help build solutions that enable our people, improve safety and deliver value to our customers.

We are offering permanent full-time positions that can be located in Hobart, Launceston or Devonport. The positions attract a total remuneration package of $105 - 118K per annum (including superannuation).  We are looking for the following specialists:

• Delivery Specialist - Dev Ops
• Delivery Specialist - Systems Engineer
• Delivery Specialist - Full Stack Developer Outsystems
• Delivery Specialist - Full Stack Developer Mulesoft
• Delivery Specialist - Business Analyst
• Delivery Specialist - Network Engineer
• Project Manager - Digital

Key Accountabilities

• Design, implement and deploy complex digital solutions.
• Analyse the business and technology landscape and contribute to architectural solutions, operational and strategic planning, and roadmap initiatives.
• Operate in a cross-functional, matrix team environment, alternating between leading workstreams, coordinating project team members and participating as a team member.
• Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and mentoring in your specialist area.
• Leverage your experience to proactively highlight then mitigate any issues or risks that may impact on successful delivery.
• Ensure that the team is delivering business value, focusing on quality solutions, effective collaboration and continuous improvement
