Federation Council is a prospering rural community centrally located on the majestic Murray River in NSW. Council has begun a journey of organisational transformation which has identified a number of opportunities for engineering professionals located in both Corowa and Urana.

Available positions are:

• Team Leader Assets & Design
• Delivery Engineers (two positions)
• Design Engineer
• Technical Officer

These roles form part of Council’s Infrastructure and Environment team and will have varying responsibilities across the Directorate including Asset Management, Asset Maintenance, Capital Works, Design of Civil Infrastructure, Project Management, Surveying, Drafting, Fleet Management,  input into Development Control and Technical Support etc. These positions will also focus on continuous improvement to increase productivity through innovation, including promoting a strong customer focus and team culture whilst maintaining high levels of communication with staff, elected members, contractors and other stakeholders

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering to AQF Level7 (except the Technical Officer at AQF Level4)
• Experience in civil infrastructure planning, design and construction
• Experience in asset management
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
• Project management skills and experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Solid computer skills including AutoCad,Civil3D

Graduate candidates that may not meet all criteria are encouraged to apply and will be considered on merit against other applications. Salary packages will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience and all positions attract a monthly RDO.
