DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT OFFICER - Graduate to Senior Planner or Environmental Health & Building Surveyor (2 year contract position due to WLB arrangements)

This is a 2 year contract position (with potential to be extended) that is responsible for the assessment of development applications with the aim of facilitating development that protects the environment and contributes to the character of the Blue Mountains. Depending on the skills and qualifications of the successful applicant, the position may also involve building certification and development monitoring and compliance work.

The successful candidate has obtained (or substantially commenced), a relevant graduate level qualification; knowledge across a range of planning and development related issues; a proven record of providing excellent customer service including responding to customer needs and keeping individual clients up to date with information and decisions that affect them.

Salary:  commencing at $2331.06 to $3577.64 gross per fortnight (depending on skills and experience).
