We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Water for the Environment team.

The North Central Catchment Management Authority protects and enhances our catchments, by working in partnership with communities to deliver enduring natural resource management outcomes. The Project Officer will assist in planning, delivering, and monitoring water for the environment with the aim to rehabilitate and maintain high value wetlands and river systems across the North Central CMA region.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to understanding the condition and response of wetlands and waterways to water for the environment. This position will play a role in engaging with the community, traditional owners, and stakeholders to ensure that local expertise and knowledge is incorporated in the planning of water for the environment.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for the environment and collaborating with community and understand ecological and hydrological processes relevant to the management of water for the environment and wetland and river ecology. The role is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate in environmental science, natural resource management, or a similar field.
