Council is seeking a highly motivated professional Building Surveyor/Certifier to lead Council’s Building Certification Team. You will oversee a small team of accredited certifiers responsible for the assessment of Construction Certificate, Complying Development Certificate and Occupation Certificate applications and undertaking mandatory critical stage inspections of buildings.

You will have tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and will need to be accredited under the BPB Accreditation scheme at an A1 level. You will be technically proficient, committed to providing excellent customer service and be able to demonstrate highly developed communication, personal accountability and team leadership skills.

Limited private use of a Council vehicle is available to the position through a leaseback arrangement, subject to negotiation.
