This position is responsible for managing the design phase of a variety of projects, with a focus on new buildings, refurbishments to existing buildings, and public space upgrades. Depending on the scale and nature of each project, the successful candidate may be required to personally complete design and documentation, and/or engage and manage a variety of external consultants to provide the necessary services. This position works closely with a variety of Council teams and external stakeholders to successfully plan, scope, design, build, and maintain the built assets of the City.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in the field of design, with demonstrated skills and experience in design phase project management of complex projects. High level of organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Salary:  commencing at $3,722.16 gross per fortnight.
