Moira Shire is strategically positioned just a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Melbourne and close to other regional centres, including Shepparton, Wangaratta, Echuca-Moama and Albury-Wodonga. Council employs approximately 200 full time equivalent staff to provide more than 140 services across the 4057 square kilometre municipality. The Position

Team Leader (Band 8)

We are looking for a qualified engineer and experienced leader to join our Construction and Assets Department to oversee our design engineers and play a key role in the delivery of Council’s Annual Capital Works Program.

Reporting directly into the Manager Construction and Assets, the position is responsible for the preparation of detailed design plans for construction purposes and to provide engineering advice and technical support for customer requests.

You will play a crucial role in delivering projects in a timely, cost effective manner whilst ensuring industry best practice and relevant acts and regulations are adhered to.  In addition, you will be supervising a team of design and project engineers.

REMUNERATION SCALE

Band 8 salary range per annum is $104,184 to $116,375 per annum plus superannuation and benefits covered under the Moira Shire Council Enterprise Agreement.
