Compliance Officer – Parking

 

This position provides a great opportunity for a Parking Officer who is looking to expand their compliance experience.  While the main focus of the position will be to enforce parking and related regulations in the Hawkesbury area through effective patrolling and surveillance of public streets and council car parking areas, there will be an opportunity to undertake other compliance and enforcement related activities.

For this position you must have highly developed customer service and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to demonstrate a commitment to ethics, probity and transparency in decision making.  Ideally you should have also completed the SEINS Infringement Processing training as well as have an understanding of relevant legislation or local government ordinance activities.

Applicants must have own reliable transport for work related travel and expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Award provisions.

Salary: Grade 10 with a commencing rate of pay of $1016.40 gross per week for 35 hours plus 9.5% Superannuation and the opportunity to progress through Council's Salary System.  Excellent working conditions apply including participation in a nine-day fortnight working arrangement.
