Visitor Information Centre Coordinator (2 days per week)
Temporary job share position up to 24 May 2016
A great opportunity exists for an experienced tourism professional to join the Hawkesbury Visitor Information Centre. To be successful in this position you will have:
• TAFE Cert. or higher qualifications in Tourism, Customer Service or related area
• Excellent leadership and staff supervisory skills
• Demonstrable experience working in a visitor information centre or a similar service environment
• High level of experience in office administration procedures using a PC and the Microsoft suite of software
• Experience in evaluating and enhancing workplace processes and procedures
• Excellent writing skills and strong verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for Hawkesbury’s tourism product, history and geography.
This position is 15 hours per week, being Thursdays and Fridays from 9am–5pm. Salary will be negotiable from $511.00 per week for 15 hours, depending upon qualifications and experience, plus 9.5% superannuation.
