The role

This position sits within our Planning and Assets Department and is responsible for working with relevant departments to plan for, deliver and operate the sewer and water reticulation networks whilst optimising efficiency. You will be provided with an opportunity to learn from experienced and passionate water industry experts whilst being supported in a highly functioning team environment.

About you

A professional Engineer with hydraulic modelling knowledge and water / wastewater industry experience. You are a keen learner who is willing to work across departments to understand our current systems, consolidate results and optimise efficiencies.

The package

Salary range circa $81,000 - $97,000 p.a. depending on skills and experience
9.5% superannuation
Permanent Full Time
35 hour week

Location

Initially this position will be based from Council's Taree office, located at 2 Pulteney Street, Taree. In future your normal place of work will be the Council Offices at 2 Biripi Way Taree. When the time comes for you to move to Biripi Way, four weeks’ notice will be provided. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
