What you’ll do:
- Manage all aspects of HR systems throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with WaterNSW culture and values.
- Interface between HR and Digital to review business needs, identify change and improvements, and develop solutions from testing to implementation.
- Oversee major HR systems upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations, and act as the point of escalation for system-related issues.
- Manage competing resources and priorities, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion of fixes and enhancements.
- Successfully and confidently engage stakeholders, establish relationships, and navigate an environment of significant change.
- Conduct thorough process reviews and develop innovative strategies to enhance system and process efficiency to drive growth.
What we are looking for:
- Experience overseeing Human Capital Management System (HCM) & processes upgrades, enhancements, and implementations.
- Proficient in reporting and data analytics tools like Power Suite (BI, App, Dataflow, Datamarts) in Microsoft Fabric/PowerBI,
- Expertise in SQL, tabular data warehousing, and database modeling, along with knowledge of data governance principles.
- Experience interfacing between different departments to review business needs, identify improvements, and develop solutions. From determining system requirements, conducting user training sessions, and facilitating system adoption.
- Strong skills in engaging and presenting to stakeholders, building relationships, and navigating change.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Highly desirable if you have experience with Success Factors, Workday or Dayforce.
