This position will:
- Provide high level advice and support to the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team and the Council’s Planetary Health Committee on the directions, development, implementation, promotion and communication of the Blue Mountains Planetary Health initiative.
- Guide, facilitate and support implementation of a Planetary Health “Local Action Program” and the ongoing development of relationships with key partners and stakeholders involved in the Blue Mountains Planetary Health initiative.
- Lead and facilitate the documentation and promotion of City and Council activities that are supporting achievement of planetary health and a more sustainable Blue Mountains – environmentally, socially and economically.
We are seeking a tertiary qualified professional with demonstrated skills and experience in leading and advising on the development, implementation and promotion of local action programs supporting the achievement planetary health within the City of Blue Mountains.
This is a term contract position (part time, 22.5 hours) for a 12 month period and then subject to review as to whether it extends beyond that period.
Salary: commencing at $3937.40 gross per fortnight.
