About the Role
Reporting to Area Lead, Program Delivery, this is a pivotal role within the Service Delivery Portfolio. As the Project Delivery Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Facilitating the effective end to end delivery of mechanical, electrical and civil minor capital projects while maintaining clear accountabilities between Melbourne Water and the Service Provider.
- Providing robust governance on multiple minor capital projects on our Water and Sewerage Network and treatment plants.
- Coordination and scheduling of the program between internal operational teams and delivery service providers.
- Financial Management of projects including review of project estimates, variations, forecasting and closeout of projects.
- Safety Leadership and taking care of own and colleagues Health and Safety through identification and reporting of hazards and active involvement in improvement initiatives.
- A valid Driver’s Licence as this role requires frequent travel.
- Help to foster a culture of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
About you:
- You have a broad technical knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and civil maintenance disciplines and provide advice to internal teams and service providers to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
- Have an understanding of contracts and contract management.
- You have strong commercial acumen with experience in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Ability to undertake health and safety and quality assurance audits and have a Clear understanding of health and safety management systems and processes.
- Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service, and contribute to a constructive, positive and supportive team environment
- Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.

This position is primarily based from the Western Treatment Plant in Werribee and you will be required to travel to Melbourne Water locations and field sites. You will be allocated an operational work vehicle.
